DTM a leading wheel & tyre provider approached us to bring their vision for the Cool Wheels brand to life in mid 2023. With a deep love of cars and desire to impact the automotive culture, the Cool Wheels brand aims to be the source for car enthusiasts by hand-selecting the best wheel brands to suit the New Zealand Driver.
For the Cool Wheels brand we sought to draw from DTM’s roots of the late 80s with the New Zealand motor industry and produce a retro visual identity that feels like a throwback to this time, while also balancing the retro feel with a modern fresh energy. Several colourways were developed to give the brand versatility for its many implementations, both print and digital.
Our work with DTM has covered many areas and the Cool Wheels launch includes a custom designed ecommerce website with a filterable dealership directory. The website sits within the DTM digital ecosystem and exists as one of several Woocommerce websites that integrate with DTM’s preferred inventory management system through a custom built API integration.
