Improving digital accessibility of tools for the Autistic community
Project Summary
Our relationship with Autism NZ started in 2020 with a basic website rebuild. This relationship has developed over the years and has involved multiple key deliverables that make the Autism NZ digital ecosystem more accessible and efficient for the team and their members.
The focus for Autism NZ has been on accessibility and user experience to make interaction with the Autistic community as frictionless as possible while integrating systems to reduce administrative load. The custom built WordPress website delivers a streamlined user experience and integrates with Autism NZ’s Microsoft Dynamics365 CRM. Another key piece in the Autism NZ digital ecosystem is the Autism Connect app. The React based app provides a secure and private way for members and case managers to connect through chat and video conferencing.
